We thank you for signing your child/children up for VBS, which will be here in no time!
At SCUBA VBS, kids will DIVE INTO A FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD!!! VBS is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Crafts, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the entertaining activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life ~ something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that a lot!
Your children will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid, that will let the kids in our community show God’s love to others in need; more on that when you join us this summer!
Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join us in the “VIP” seating section each day at 11:45am, because that’s when we’ll be having our end of the day FIN-TASTIC FINALE… a daily recap of what we have learned of God’s love that you won’t want to miss!
Things to remember…
- VBS begins on Monday, August 5th through Friday, August 9th. The fun starts at 9am and will end at noon
- VBS begins and ends in the Sacred Heart School gym; please go down the walkway, past the flag pole and enter in the second doorway to the left
- Please sign in each morning in the lobby and then bring your child to their Crew’s table in the gym.
- A snack and juice/water will be provided each day
- Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy and at times wet. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.
- Some activities are outside; please apply sunscreen to your child before they arrive
- On Friday we will have a Potluck Lunch that we hope you will be able to join us for. There will be a sign up sheet
