The Knights of Columbus is the largest worldwide Catholic fraternal service organization dedicated to providing charitable services, promoting Catholic education and Catholic public policy positions, actively defending Catholicism, and supporting the clergy and the family. The Order provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, the local communities, families and young people.

Council 5093 was chartered on February 28, 1963. We are Catholic gentlemen, currently over 116 members strong, committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism, and defense of the priesthood. Our Order is consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and is unequivocal in its loyalty to the Pope, the Vicar of Christ on earth. The Order is firmly committed to the protection of human life, from conception to natural death, and to the preservation and defense of the family. It was on these bedrock principles that the Order was founded over a century ago and remains true to them today.
Membership consists of four different degrees, each exemplifying a different principle of the Order. As a member of the Knights of Columbus, you and your family enjoy many benefits, including 12 free issues annually of Columbia magazine, the world’s largest Catholic family magazine, eligibility to join the Knights of Columbus top-ranked life insurance program, and many more family and personal benefits.
As a member of Council 5093, you can enrich yourself by charitable works in following areas:
Church Activities – Church Lecturers; Eucharistic Ministry; Alter Services; Parish Council; Church Beautification; Spiritual Reading Services
Youth Activities – Free Throw Competition (annual basketball shoot-out)
Family Activities – Support of the elderly and a recognition program for our married couples
Community Service – Our Neighbors Table; My Brother’s Keeper (monthly food collection); Blood Drives
Council Activities – Tootsie Roll Drive (to raise funds for intellectually challenged)
